NISA Nation Announces 2022 Southwest Region Spring Schedule

Published Mar 3, 2022

CHICAGO (March 3, 2022) – NISA Nation announces the 2022 spring schedule for the Southwest Region. The season’s first contest sees Sporting ID11 (Lake Forest, Calif.) host Las Vegas Legends on March 13 at the Lake Forest Sports Complex in Lake Forest, Calif.

With six clubs participating, the 2022 spring schedule features a number of high-level matches that will make for an exciting run at the NISA Nation Southwest Region trophy come early July. Along with Sporting ID11 and Las Vegas Legends are inaugural defending champions FC Golden State Force (Pomona, Calif.), Capo FC (Capistrano, Calif.), Valley Raiders FC (Phoenix), Sporting ID11, and Thousand Oaks FC (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).

“Albeit being only a four-club provisional region in the fall, the Southwest region was packed with quality matches,” said Jonathan Rednour, managing director of NISA Nation. “We’re excited to bring more prestigious clubs into this region and extend the professional approach, on and off the pitch, across the board.”

Other NISA Nation regions include the Northeast, Florida and Pacific. While schedules are not yet complete, the Northeast will begin its spring 2022 season on April 2 and Florida begins May 30.  The Pacific Region is set for a late April or early May kickoff. NISA will release these schedules in the coming weeks.
